Esha Gowri

Esha Gowri has completed an MSc in Counseling Psychology from Roshini Nilaya, Mangalore, Karnataka. She also holds an Integrated PG Diploma in Special Needs from the Aspiring Professional Teacher Training Institute, which is internationally accredited in Canada. Additionally, she is a graduate in B.A. Psychology and completed her P.U.C. from St Agnes PU College.

She is professionally certified in career counseling and Oncho Psychology. Her additional certifications include expressive art therapy, emotional freedom technique and Neuro-linguistic programming, education administration and management, and play therapy. She is certified by the USA Society of Autism to work with autistic children and by RCI to work with individuals with addiction and geriatric issues. She is also certified to handle students with learning disabilities and has completed a certification course on common mistakes in English and a Hindi course. Esha is registered under various national and international professional bodies such as the Counselor Council of India, National Career Services, Indian Didactics Association, International Society of Substance Use Professionals, and she serves as an international committee member of the Global Institute of Counseling Professionals (Sri Lanka).

Esha has a wide range of experience, having volunteered at U&I for six months teaching English to underprivileged children. She worked as an event manager at Foresee Educational Institution, and has provided counseling to doctors and nurses at Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru, under the psychiatry department. Esha served as a wellness helpline counselor for Covid-19 patients and was recognized as a Covid Warrior by the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada. She held counselor and psychologist roles at various institutions, including the Royal Academy Study Abroad, the Wellness Helpline, and Adit Kiran Neuro Psychiatry and Counselling Centre.

Esha Gowri's work has been widely recognized. Notable awards include the Bharat Jothi Ideal Educator Award 2021 by MVLA Trust, Mindful Educator 2021 by Mind On Group, and the Best Psychologist by the Magic Book of Records 2021. She has also received the IEC Innovative Education Award, Glantor Nation Choice Award for Best Psychologist & Educator, the Rising Star and Global Women Award by Holistic Healing and Treatment Organization, and the Indian Icon Award by the National Human Rights Organization. Esha was listed among 50 powerful women of India by Fox Stories India and recognized as one of Femme Times' 50 Women Leaders of India in Psychology and Career Counseling. Additional accolades include Dr. Rajendra Prasad Excellence Award in healthcare and the Arogya Ratna Puraskar award. She has also contributed to mental awareness programs at Vikas PU College, St. Agnes College, and Milagris College.

Esha holds memberships in several prominent organizations: Counselor Council of India, National Career Services (Government of India), Indian Didactics Association, International Society of Substance Use Professionals, Global Institute of Counseling Professionals (Sri Lanka), Holistic Healing and Treatment and Training Organization, and serves as a Board Advisor Committee Member of the National Human Rights Organization. She is appointed as National Director of Psychology at the National Human Rights Organization of India.
