Dr. Sheshrao Vitthal Talimkar

Dr. Sheshrao Vitthal Talimkar is a dedicated social worker and community leader from Nanded, Maharashtra, committed to serving underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society. Coming from a farmer’s family, he has devoted several years to social service with a strong belief that society has given us much and it is our responsibility to give back to society.

He is associated with Kisan Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha, Gopalchavdi, an organization working for poor and needy people, homeless persons, persons with disabilities, orphan children, and senior citizens.

Dr. Talimkar has been actively involved in various social welfare initiatives, including food distribution, support for orphan and underprivileged children, community welfare activities, and awareness programs.

Dr. Talimkar has worked in the field of social service for several years, with a focus on supporting poor, needy, and disadvantaged populations. His efforts include organizing food donation and welfare activities, supporting orphaned and underprivileged children, participating in community development, and running social awareness initiatives. He is also dedicated to building humanitarian values and promoting social responsibility, particularly for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

He holds the position of Secretary at Kisan Bahuuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha, Gopalchavdi. He is also the CEO/MD of Kisan Motor Driving School, Cidco Nanded. Through these organizations, he works for the welfare and upliftment of underprivileged communities, conducting various humanitarian and social welfare activities.

Dr. Sheshrao Vitthal Talimkar has completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. He has also been honoured with an Honorary Doctorate in recognition of his contribution to social service.

Dr. Talimkar has received numerous awards, including the State-Level Mahatma Phule Maharashtra Ratna Award (2026), Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Inspiration Award (2026), Maharashtra Samaj Bhushan Award (2026), Bharat Ratna Icon of India Award, Honorary Doctorate Award, and the TIAF Excellence in Leadership Award (2026, Bangkok). He has also received other recognitions from various social and charitable organizations.

His vision is to build a compassionate and socially responsible society where every person, irrespective of their economic or social background, receives dignity, support, and opportunities.

Inspired by the values and teachings of his late father, Shri Vitthal Talimkar, Dr. Sheshrao Talimkar has dedicated himself to continuing meaningful social work and contributing to the welfare of society.
