Brishti Mukherjee was born on 31 March 1997 in West Bengal, India. From an early age, she developed a deep interest in literature, nature, and the exploration of human emotions, themes that later became central to her academic and creative pursuits.

Dr. (h.c.) Brishti Mukherjee is an Indian educator, author, and literary scholar known for her contributions to English literature through teaching, academic research, and creative writing. She currently serves as an English Literature teacher at Rajkamal Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.

She is known for integrating literary analysis with creative expression, encouraging students to connect classical and contemporary texts with real-life experiences.

She has presented scholarly papers at various national and international conferences. Her research work includes:
