Dr. Ayushi Garg

Dr. Ayushi Garg was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her family includes her father Suresh Garg, mother Anuradha Garg, and elder sister Garima Garg. Her hometown is Panchkula, Haryana.

She pursued her medical education in the field of Biochemistry and completed her MD in Biochemistry from Amritsar. Her parents played a supportive role in her educational journey and personal development.

Dr. Garg began her involvement in social and humanitarian initiatives around 2018. Her work has included women's empowerment, healthcare assistance, and support for vulnerable individuals.

During 2018–2019, Dr. Garg was engaged in initiatives supporting rape survivors and survivors of animal abuse. She provided assistance and connected affected individuals with necessary resources. She has also worked on programs supporting women's education and rights, including fundraising for causes centered on women's empowerment.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Garg actively participated in humanitarian relief efforts. She helped arrange approximately 800–1,000 ICU beds for critically ill patients and facilitated the provision of oxygen cylinders, masks, and other vital supplies for those unable to access essential healthcare resources during the crisis.

Dr. Garg has been involved in counselling individuals experiencing severe emotional distress and suicidal thoughts. She has counselled approximately 100–200 individuals and worked to connect them with appropriate support and assistance.

During dengue outbreaks, Dr. Garg helped coordinate blood and platelet donors for patients requiring transfusions, facilitating access to more than 500 donors for dengue and other critical cases.

Women's empowerment has been a central area of Dr. Garg's social work since 2018. She engages in fundraising and awareness initiatives that support access to education, women's rights, and assistance for women facing challenging social circumstances.

Dr. Garg's humanitarian activities span support for rape survivors, women's education and empowerment, women's rights awareness, COVID-19 relief, ICU bed coordination, oxygen and essential-supply assistance, blood and platelet donor coordination, counselling and emotional support, doorstep fundraising, arrangement of organ transplant donors, support for vulnerable communities, and animal welfare.
